How to switch to ADSL24

It couldn't be simpler to switch to ADSL24. Simply contact your current provider for a MAC, choose your package and sign up online or by phone! You don't need to cancel with your current provider and we will inform them once you have switched over to us. The process takes around 5 working days and you won't usually be without your connection during this period. To make this simpler, we've broken down each step into a non-jargon explanation.

Step 1
If you already have a broadband service on your phone line with another provider, your first step is to contact them and ask them for a MAC. This MAC is an alphanumeric code that allows the transfer of your broadband service between suppliers. A sample MAC is LZMR1234567/AB12C, and the one you are supplied should be of a similar format. Without this MAC, you'll be unable to sign up to a new provider such as ourselves.

General Exclusions: If you have a Virgin Media cable broadband service, or you have a full Line Rental, Calls and Broadband bundle with a company like Sky, TalkTalk or Tiscali, then you will not be able to transfer to us using the standard procedure. The reason for this is because these providers move your line away from BT completely, and therefore to transfer to another broadband provider, you will need to move back to a BT-based line rental service. If you are in this situation we are able to help, as we can offer BT-based line rental at cheaper costs and reduced call rates than BT.

Step 2
Once you have obtained your MAC you will need to choose a package with us. Take a look at our Home or Business packages for full details. Once you have selected a package, you are ready to sign up with us.

Step 3
Order online at https://adsl24.co.uk/signup/ or call us on 01457 6000 24. The sign up process will ask you for your telephone number along with your MAC and you will be able to choose your own username and password to get started.
