Downstream speed
If your exchange supports ADSL2+ we will provision your line up to 24 Mb downstream - else provision your line up to 8 Mb downstream and let you know once ADSL2+ is available. You will be informed prior to signup which service is available.
Upstream speed
If your exchange supports ADSL2+ we will provision your line up to 1.4 Mb upstream - else provision your line up to 832 kb upstream and let you know once ADSL2+ is available. You will be informed prior to signup which service is available.
Monthly allowance
This is your monthly allowance which is measured between 8am and 8pm weekdays. If you exceed this you will be given a further 1 GB and capped at 128k all day/night until your monthly allowance resets or you purchase a top-up.
Free extra allowance
As well as the standard monthly allowance, any usage between 8pm and 8am weekdays and all weekend is completely free and does not count towards your normal monthly allowance. Due to the nature of this you should expect to see lower than normal speeds at busy times in some areas during this free period, however this should not affect any browsing, gaming, VoIP or other latency critical applications as the network is managed to ensure that ping times and latency is always low and packet loss is prevented.
Contract length
We offer a 1 month contract as standard on all packages. We don't need to tie our customers into long contracts which gives you added peace of mind should your requirements change.
Static IP address
All our packages come with a static IP address by default with an option for a block of 8 at no additional cost - or a block of 16, 32 or 64 for an additional one-off fee.
24/7/365 UK support
We provide a 24/7/365 local rate support number and all our staff are based in England. There are no overseas call centres or premium rate numbers here!
No port blocking
Our network is completely open so you won't find any ports or protocols that are blocked - for example P2P, Usenet or SMTP. You are free to use whatever port or protocol you like.
Email accounts
All our packages come with unlimited free e-mail accounts offering you the ability to give each family member or colleague their own e-mail address should you wish.
Web space
All our packages come with 200Mb of free web space offering you the ability to upload your own web site or documents to your web space should you wish.
Top-up information
Top-ups (default overuse option)
You can purchase any top-up in advance or as required. Top-ups are only consumed between 8am and 8pm weekdays. You can also sign up for auto top-ups so your account will only be topped up if and when you go over your normal allowance.
Rolls over
Any top-ups you purchase will roll over every month until you have used them up.
Never expires
Any top-ups you purchase will never expire unless you migrate to another provider (including other resellers) or cease your line.
Other information
Cease charge
Please note that if you cease the ADSL service, for example if you are moving house, cancel the landline or BT cancel the service on the line for any reason, a standard cease charge of £23.50 including VAT will be charged on your next bill. This charge was introduced by BT wholesale and therefore ISPs have to pass this on. We actually charge less to you than BT wholesale charge us.
The cease charge is not applicable if you migrate to another ISP by using the MAC code supplied by us, providing your new ISP uses this MAC Code to transfer your service - so you are free to migrate away without any charge.
